About
Hello, I’m Angela. I launched Tiger and Wolf in 2017 offering a premium pet care service to the four-legged residents of Balham, Battersea and Clapham.
The inspiration was my own cat Rex who in 2014, was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy (he’s the handsome chap pictured above). From the age of 18 months, Rex has required prescription drugs which come with long-term side effects.
Although infrequently, Rex continues to have seizures and if I need to be away, finding someone to medicate and take care of him is a challenge. I realised that like me, there must be other pet owners who require more than ‘express’ cat-feeding visits from the untrained and unqualified.
I’ve always had a natural affinity with animals but to help Rex as best I could, I enrolled in a series of complementary animal healing, behavioural and small animal nutrition courses. Before I knew it, a new career path had emerged…
Now working as a holistic therapist, I’m a Registered Animal Healer and Member of the Healing Animals Organisation (MHAO); Bach Foundation Registered Animal Practitioner (BFRAP) and Reiki practitioner trained to Master level for both humans and animals.
I’m an advocate of fresh, species appropriate, real food. Good nutrition, including natural foods and remedies, helps to support the continuing wellbeing of our pets. I am also trained in basic pet first aid.
In August 2023, I proudly launched my healing business, Angela Kearney Healing - Holistic Therapies for People and Pets. To find out more, click here.
The Covid period brought some changes to the business and an increased requirement for cat care which I’m very happy about. My enduring love of cats leads me to my next academic challenge. In 2024, I begin an Advanced Diploma in Applied Animal (Feline) Behaviour!
Unfortunately, there’s no longer time in my schedule for dog-walking and canine care. But I love my Tiger and Wolf logo so much that I just couldn’t part with it.
If your requirement is for cat care when on vacation or travelling for work, I’ll visit your home, allowing your tiger to remain where he or she is happiest.
My aim is to ensure that your kitty enjoys ongoing optimum health and a happy, stress-free experience during your absence. Consequently, you can fully relax knowing that your precious pet will receive the best possible care. And lots of cuddles!
Tiger and Wolf is fully insured with specialist providers, Protectivity.

Services
why home visits?
It's often said that domestic cats are solitary creatures not overly attached to their humans. In fact, they usually form very close bonds with us.
When you're away, your tiger will be unsettled by your absence and any change in his or her circumstances. For many cats, a boarding experience is deeply stressful. A cat's anxiety is best managed by arranging home visits where routine, comfort and security are maintained in familiar surroundings.
quality over quantity
If you’ve been looking for a cat sitter, you’ll notice that most offer standard visits between 20-25 minutes. And some very bold claims are made about what’s possible to achieve in that time! An already unsettled cat will be further stressed by a stranger charging around your home for 20 minutes before they rush off to the next pet sitting job.
My standard visit is for 35 minutes. This allows me time to complete tasks at a calm and steady pace in your cat’s domain. It also leaves dedicated time for play, enrichment and cuddles, if desired. Or simply, to sit quietly nearby providing gentle reassurance to nervous kitties…
If you have more than one tiger, high maintenance cats or would simply like your kitties to enjoy some company for a longer period, 60 minute visits are also available.
These visits are particularly well suited to indoor cats lacking stimulation or cats dealing with unusual circumstances; senior cats who need a little extra help and reassurance or those with health issues who take longer to cater for (or clean up after).
special visits & additional services
Special visits can also be arranged for cats with acute and chronic health conditions requiring extra visits each day or extra time per visit. I’m also able to administer medications in most cases. A small daily fee applies.
Relaxing, holistic treatments are also available. Reiki, Bach Flower Remedies or perhaps a healing herb garden? Wellbeing consultations can be booked for issues around diet, nutrition and behavioural concerns. Learn more at Angela Kearney Healing.
training, qualifications & daily communication
I’ll aim to replicate your cat's daily schedule as closely as possible. Most importantly, keeping to regular feeding times, I’ll be closely observing how much your cat is eating and drinking. Where there is a litter tray, I monitor output. I am adequately trained to recognise behavioural or any physical irregularities and can confidently advise when veterinary intervention is required.
Giving you even greater peace of mind, I’ll keep an eye on things at home. You’ll return to a tiger-tidy space. I can bring in your post, open/close curtains and blinds, adjust lighting, water your plants (within reason) and take out the trash. No problem.
Unique to Tiger and Wolf, you’ll also receive updates and photos of your precious kitties after every visit. Take a look at some of my adorable kitty clients in the photo gallery.
Tiger and Wolf offers a truly premium service delivered by a qualified animal health professional. You’ll be regularly updated and reassured during your time away. And upon your return, a happy, healthy and purrfectly relaxed pet will be waiting…
